How do I help faculty, students and family members activate their accounts?

CGN will assist students and family members with setting up their CGN School accounts. We will provide you with an invitation email that you can send to families, inviting them to register for an upcoming Family Activation Event.

  • Parents/guardians will always need a PIN to activate their account for the first time.

  • Students and faculty will not need a PIN.


Instructions for activating family and student accounts are included in the CGN Counselor User Guide. You received the Guide via email when your school registered with CGN. If you would like CGN to resend the Counselor User Guide, please contact us at support@collegeguidancenetwork.com.
